TUSCALOOSA, Alabama — Phillips and Jordan quality assurance representative Ron Thompson (left), briefs Maj. Gen. Todd T. Semonite, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) South Atlantic Division commander; Eric Hedrick, Operations Manager for Phillips and Jordan; and Robert Moore USACE Recovery Field Office commander, on the debris removal progress on the contractor’s Automated Debris Management System, called STORM, June 1, 2011. The system tracks debris load information throughout the state. The Corps of Engineers supports the Federal Emergency Management Agency in Alabama through debris clearance and removal following the severe spring tornadoes that affected the region April 27.
